i think the word fly meant that our children and grandchildren will grow up to be a somebody. they will grow up to be whomever they want to be.

I think the word 'fly' in this quote means, that when our children and our grandchildren fly they will be respected by not the color of there skin but by the act of there charater. And when they fly rasicm in the world will be STOPPED and the world will get along nicer

i think that this quote means that everyone looks special in their own way or when they wear clothes they think they look cute. for example> i be telling my friends that they always think they look fly. the answer is always yes even if i don't that's true. that's what i think the word fly means.

I think that this quote means that all these african american people did something that changed our world and some people thought it was impossible. just like humans can't have wings to fly it's impossible. But now that the so called impossible has been accomplished we might as well could fly.

Hi, this is Chereen James and I think the connotation of the word Fly is to excel or have great achievements.

I think this quote means that Rosa Parks' achievements inspired others to achieve also. And due to Barak Obama's achievements, our future generation will be inspired to accomplish things in the future.

I agree with Shamarie because this "chain" doesn't end with Barak Obama, but our future children will continue striving for the best.
