it means that somethings are worth letting go of so you can have the that one special thing or person
I agree and disagree because say you really want this car but once you get it is it really worth pushing your friends and family away. But somethings are so good like being the C.E.O of Apple that you might need to push some things away.

This quote means that sometimes when you want something you have to maybe let go of something else so that you can get what you want. It's sometimes difficult t do that because the choice that you have to make may be hard for you to make. I agree with this because for example if you want to buy a new car but you have a really old car that's valuable but this car was given to you by a person who's
important to you, so you have to give up something to get something else but you have to make a choice.

I think this mean that if you really want something you would have to get rid of or give up on everything else you have.I kind of agree becuase for example if you have a boyfirend and your friends do not like him and are saying if you date him they wont be your friend but you really like him so yall date and you lose all of your friends just for this one boyfriend.

This quote means that if something is very important that is worth alot. You need to gain that and stuff that is not so important you can loose it. Example:you have a best friend and they been there with you from your ups and downs. you will gain them and loose the fake friends that are really shady.I agree with this quote because if something is so important to you you will do anything to keep that.

this quote means that to gain what you want you would have to lose everything that you already have. I disagree with this because say you worked all your life to get all the things you have now you're just going to give up all your life's work just to get one thing that you might not even like. {O"Ryan brown 271}

Hi,

My name is Eleasah Cunningham. I am 12 years old & I think this quote means that you keep what you think is necessary to you & let go of the things that you don't need.
I agree & disagree because say you have an old toy that you don't need to use anymore it is time to let it go & look to things you do need in the future.

In my perspective, i think the qoute means, that if you want something, i mean REALLY want something, you may have to discard everything you have. For example, you want to change you computer, but you dont want to lose all of your files. So, you want a fancy, cool computer, but you loose all of your valuables.

I think the quote means that if you really want something you have to give up something else in your possession.I agree with this quote because if you have an old dell computer but you want a brand new hp computer you have to give up the dell computer for the hp computer.

Think this quote means that somethings worth having but there's going to be a time that you have to let it go.I agree with this quote because there going to be a time when you have something that you love and care about but so or later you have to gve it up and move on to something else.

It Means That You Have To Make Sacrifices In Order To Get What You Truly Want. And You Will Do Or Give Up Anything To Really Receive What You Really Desire. This Is Sometimes Difficult For You Because You May Want To Have Your Cake And Eat It Too. Meaning You Don't Want To Give Up Anything But You Still Want Get What You Want Anyway. That's What I Think This Quote Means.

This means if you want something your willing to lose everything you have. For example say that you want a cell phone you are willing to lose all of your money for that one cell phone. I also agree what I am saying.

This quote means that some people want something and then they wind up loosing everything else like friends and family. I also think that this quote means to never take anything for granted just because you have something you really wanted.

The quote means what you have now with you is better to have than to throw it away or loose it because whatever the circumstance u will always need it.It is sometimes difficult for that person and sometimes something is happening in your life but it's too early to give up that thing that u have and it's never too late to not give it up because you will always need it by your side. I think that quote meant that you should leave all of the the the things you want behind and you should just go find the things that you need. I agree with this quote because I have personaly wanted something that was not a benefit to my life or helth. I only had gotten it just to have it as a priveledge and not a requirement.

I think that the quote made by Bernadete Devlin meant that for instance, if you have a old phone and has many important files that you have saved from " kingdom come" .
Then a new phone comes out that has better features than your old one . When you get it though, all the files you had would be metaphorically " flushed down the drain " . In my own opinion , I agree with Devlin because you should stick with your own stuff that you had from the beginning , not a new piece of junk you buy every week .

This quote means if you have something and you want something else you are going to have to let go of one of them. You cant have everything in life and so in order to take you must give.

ODESA..... I think that the meaning of the quote is in order to have what you truly want in life you have to loose things that you think that you thought you needed but did not really need at all.

I strongly agree with this qoute means that if you want something and you cant have it could me dropping everything and take charge of what you want. For example if you are big boy or girl and you rather be thin it comes with a package you have to drop all your fat foods like chips, sodas and cookies and eat more healthy like fruits vegis and light foods. That means you are going to have a gain which is being thin and loose the fat foods.

This quote means that if you want 1 single thing very badly, you are going to have to risk giving up other things that you already have or want. I agree with this statement because it makes sense. For example, your playing a trivia game to win 100,000 dollars. If you get the next question wrong, you will lose all your prizes that you earned. It’s like saying the chance of winning double the money is worth more than the $50, 000 in prizes you already have.

I think that this goal means that if something is important enough, but consequences are that you have to lose everything else, it's alright because it is worth it, you don't have to feel bad about it. I agree with this statement because I particularly, have stick to one thing before and abandoned any other thing left. At first, you might wonder if it was a good idea then when the results comes, if its satisfying, you might feel like it was worth it.

I believe that the quote written by Bernadette Delvin in 1969 is saying that if your goal or cause is worthy enough you may have to lose all you have. You will have to make many sacrifices and take drastic measures to accomplish what is worth of having.I strongly agree with this statement.I believe everybody has to experience the wrath of rock bottom to reach their goal. You also have to persist when at rock bottom and when you lose everything or else you wont accomplish your task.

i think this quote means to sacrifice for something you really want badly but to loose everything in order to get that particular thing. for example getting a new phone. getting a new phone can relate to this because your going out of your way just to get this new phone.not even studying on what your suppose to be doing like your homework.this can affect you badly because doing the thing your not suppose to do can be a cause of your grade and making you get left back.my point means somethings are worth letting go but there are somethings that you may want in order to let go.

To me this means that if you want something that is important to you, you have to drop everything that seems not important to you compared to that.Example:if your use to getting a 75 in any subject and you want a 80 then you have to stop your old ways.I agree with this because if you want something new you have to let go of the old.

HI, My name is Damiya i am in class 271,I think this quote means to sacrifice one thing for the other. For an example say you go to the store and there's two shirts that you like, but you only have money for one shirt. You will have to sacrifice one of the shirts you really like for the other shirt.

I think that this quote means that for you to get something you really want you have to give up something to get that something. But are you willing to get that thing even though it means losing the ones you love. I agree and diagree with this quote because what if that something comes once in a life time and you work your butt off just to get where you are to day. You not just going to give that up because you work your butt off to get where you are today with out nobody helping. you not just going to wake up one day and than somebody just give you a free house. Nobody is going to that if you find that person please give me a call!!!!! I also disagree because how are you just going to leave your family hanging like that. They have been there with you you through thick and thin, they have seen you through you worst days and you happy days> Thats just wrong man wrong!!!!

this quote means inorder to gain u have to loose a good of yours.i agree with this quote because their is going to be a time in your life that u will have to let go of a good , benefit or a need , once u let go of that thing u loved so much u gain something in return.for example my father has customer that is constantly calling him for a car (acura)but my dad bought that car for 8,000 and change my dad told the customer the price but he refuse to pay the price so my dad told him forgette it cuz he dont have enough money the men offered my dad 6,000 and change my dad said he have to put a lil more money on top of wat he has to get the car , my point of this example is that my father lost and gain at the same time he lost like about 2,000 and change but he still gained money at the end of the day.

This quote means if you have wanted this onr item and it was the one you wanted for a long time wouldnt you just drop everything else. I mean your not using anything else except this one item. You wouldnt even think of anything else exceot this so why would you even worry about anything else. Your just in the moment. That is what the quote means.
