Re-write this quote in your own words, then explain what it means.

"An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity."

-Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

A person cannot live life to the fullest if they just keep to them self the have to be able to communicate with people.I think this Quote means that in order to live life and enjoy it a person has to `be able sometimes give up their individualism.

He is trying to say that a person has not lived life until they live life to the fullest and take risks. This quote means that you have not started to live until you take some risks.

I think that this quote means that a person does not start living a productive life until they realize that their own individual ideas and beliefs should not be confined to just certain things but to broaden their horizon with the everyday concerns of other people.

This quote means a person hasn't really lived until they have taken a risk to do something. And also I think they might not be taken this risk because of the fear of begin hurt or death.

Quote in my own words: A person has not started living if they had behind their fears. This quote means that as an individual person you wouldnt really have started living your life if you havent try something new or doing something out of your comfort zone. also if you dont want to do something risky.

Someone cannot truley live life until you are at the brink where humanity is the most important thing worth thinking on. It means that until you are near death, or in a fatal position, you cannot really grasp the feeling of life.

In my own words, this quote means:
"Someone has to understand how to open themnselves up, without letting internal and external conflicts get to them for them to learn a proper lesson."
To me, this means that people should't care about the whole world, and even sometimes to their own mind because that can lead to things as example, learning a wrong lesson.

A person cannot live a great life if you don't become acquainted with other people.I think this means that in order to enjoy the wonderful life you have you should talk to someone.Show your feelings and your true colors to someone instead of keeping it in.

I think that this quote means that an individual hasn't really lived life until they have done something out of the ordinary, something different. For example: one time i was watching Spongebob and Larry the lobster told Spongebob and Patrick that what they do is boring they don't take any risks unlike him. Spongebob and Patrick called it living like Larry and from then on they started living free, being open.
