This quote means that when you are trying to understand something can't just base it on your curiosity but on your prior and presented knowledge.

Oh I disagree because sometimes you don't have any knowledge.

I think this means a good story would tickle our intelligence and imagination but it would not make us look back in the story and say "why did this happen".

I wanted to add a quote to see if it would be good enough to go on your blog Mrs.T.Hall.

Good literature like an article or a good book stretches your mind which holds your intelligence and imagination. Unlike bad literature that just feeds your curiosity and does nothing to increase your intelligance. jenning ballesteros 271

I think this quote means that great art comes from smart and your expressions of your mind not from your curiosity of what your going to draw/paint. Yes,I do agree with this quote because I too believe that art comes from imagination. When your mind speaks out so does your drawing/painting

I think this quote means that a person will have good literature with their intelligence and great imagination not just based on their curiousity.I disagree with shawn beacuse if you dont have any knowledge you can at least try to use your imagination.

I agree with terrence and justin i think that quote means that if you think without acting it feels good and it is like you are daydreaming but if you act before you think about it, it will feel like you are in a nightmare because it is not going to make any sense if you didnt think about it.

i think that this quote means that in order to have good literature you have to have intelligence and imagination and not curiosty. i agree with this quote because you shouldnt have to be curious about something.you should be able to use ur imagination and have intelligence.i dissagree with shawn because i dont think that you should always use your prior and presented knowledge when trying to understand somthing. i think you should also be able to use some of your imagination and intelligence. also if you dont have any knowledge on something you should try using your imagination to understand it.

You can see that this is Jade Compton from class 271. I believe that this quote indicates that good literature is claimed to your own intelligence and imagination, but it doesn't work just based on your curiosity. I agree with this quote, because I believe that you are supposed to use your intelligence and imagination to be able to perform good literature. I don’t work with only your curiosity and opinion. I agree with Brianna, because it is not what you want to find out or what you are curious about but your imagination and intelligence. This is a work of literature that provides more than factual accuracy or vivid physical reality. This quote was spoken by Edward Morgan Forster, an English novelist, short story writer, essayist and librettist.

Taiya Barnes 272, I think this quote means if you want to find out something instead of wondering about it go and actually find the right answer yourself. I disagree with Justin Delerme of class 271 because if you are reading a story no matter what you will have to look back in the story, on the state ela exam for a question you will have to look back into the story.

This quote means that when you have lots of intellegence , and you are able to open your mind to visualize and imagine things , then you will be able to understand literature better and not just because something looks interesting. For example if you are reading a book , and if you just look at the cover it could look interesting and when you read it, it could be boring to you.

i agree with jenning i think this means a good literature is something that will help gain somthing or teach us something to help us do better things and you can't bace somthing on ur curiosity you have to have somthing to let you know something or help you with something

Anonymous said...

i forgot to say i agree with this beceuse it is true what they are telling you,you can't bace something on your curiosity you can't bace it somthing that you might hardly know you would need somethin to help you .which is you would need a good literature to help you .

I think the quote means that a good literature has to have intelligence to write a good story and good vocabulary that will help you visulize whats going on. But if you have a thoughts you reader wont know unless you put vit in words so they can understand what you are thinking. That is what I think the quote mean.
