Write one paragraph to answer the question below. Be sure to use at least five words from last week's vocbulary list.

You've had a lot of experience with teachers, enough to know the good from the bad. If a new teacher came to you looking for advice on how to make a favorable impression, what kind of advice would you give?

(Underline and place in bold each vocabulary word. I am looking for 8th grade level sentences)

At the end of your paragraph put your First and last name and class

THIS COMMENT IS ON THE QUESTION THAT IS POSTED!!! BY: Alex Duvivier 281

If a new teacher came to you looking for advice on how to make a favorable impression, what kind of advice would I give? Well I guess I would say that if the teacher is new the teacher should'nt "anyalze" and then "summarize" a student based on records. No a new teacher get to know the childern, and also should not be so hard on the students, I'm not saying the teacher be a pushover but be a little lieniet on some lessons. Some teachers have a habbit on being "comparative" with students and that never works out, teachers should test students on weaknesses or if there are none increase their strenghts, and before a teacher moves on he or she should ask if anyone is having difficuilties on the subject, not to "ignore" it and move on that's the easiest way an entire class can fail. Well basically this would my advice to make a great inpression, and build a relationship with their students thus creating a brighter future!

Hi My name is Junior Elinor from class 281.If a teacher came up to me for favorable impression what advice would i be able to give them? Well lets see? First i would see what the students behavior are looking like. But as a new teacher i would like let the students know that school isnt a joke and when its class time its actually time to get to work & learn. But I agree with what Alex said "they should not be hard on the students" because as a new teacher let the kids know what you want from them and want you do not except.Soon the teacher is going to ANALYZE the difference. They should try to SUMMARIZE each and every students summary.the teachers should be COMPARATIVE on the students weaknesss and strongness they should know what the student cannot do and need help with & what the students knows how to do and can help others if others need help.AS a new teacher you can let the students know on how there grades can go up? and i think it would be best of the students listen and they dont IGNORE on what the teacher is saying.THEN from there we can see the improvements of a good impression of a teacher.

As a student I have had a lot experience with teachers. If a teacher came looking for advice on how to make a favorable impression, I would say that a teacher should not be "RELENTLESS" towards students, or be "COMPARATIVE". If a teacher is not forgiving a student will have no chance to prove that they have changed and if a teacher compares students, one student may think that they're better "THAN" another and say they are smarter making that student feel bad. I would say that they should offer extra points and help with work that they think do not do as well in class but try very hard and show effort in getting a passing grade. I would also say that she should find out why some students sow "TENACITY". "THEN", I would tell her to listen to students when they have complains.By doing all these things, I think a new teacer would make a favorable impression.

Some have the tenacity to ignore the important aspects of life. Whether it be that person cannot prioritize or simply the person is to relentless into the path of ignorance. It is very sad, but everyone must face adversity one time or another. But is it not the ones who claim ignorance is man's own damnation, also say "ignorance is bliss?"

If a new teacher came to me looking for advice on how to make a favorable impression in Isaac Bildersee, I guess i would tell him or her the obvious. One, i would tell him or her that although you don't want to come on to strong, don't be a pushover. Kids might not like when your hard on them but in the future they will see that you are only trying to help them. Two,Offer reward, gifts or extra points to students that show effort in your class and to students complete all homework and class work assignments, this will show the other students that if they work hard they can be rewarded as well. Some students may say that there other classmates are preventimg them from doing THEIR work, simply tell them to IGNORE because in the real world that is all that you can do and your job as a teacher is getting you ready for that. Though some people are more easily distracted THAN others, simply place them at a table of their own where there are know distractions around them. Last but not least, three, do not treat the students as if they are still in the second grade. Train those students as how you would train your own children to get ready for high school. Phone calls home are unncecisary and a waste of time. When you really want to get through to them, wait until parent teacher night and blurt out all that you wanted to say over the phone face to face. Students must realize that it is there PRIORITY to do what they have to in school, its only your job as a teacher to help them see that. THEN after you've done that your job is done.

If a teacher came up to me looking for advice for a favorable impression the least i could say is to not to "ignore" students problems. To "analyze" studednts behavior and "summarize" your data on them to understand how you have to treat the student. Most teachers are to nice and every time they do something wrong they try to be nice or a pushover with the students and it dosen't works. What you should to do is start of on a strict note but not "relentless" "Then" if the students behave obedient you can tone down but if they act up to stay strict. From there on once you know how to act depending on there behaviour you will be good.

any bad comments from students. You don't want them to think that you are weak. Don't be "relentless" but don't be too nice either. It is your "priority" to make sure that the students respect you and take you as their eductor, not their friend. Also remember that you are not "comparative"to them. You are their educator and they are your students. "Then" you might want to try to get all their names right. It's important that you know your students' names. Although you are older and have more power "than" them, you don't want to say-hey you- when you are addressing your students. If you can't get their names, give them a nickname based on what you know about them and try to remember that name instead. You might also want to "analyze" their work and put them into piles. You don't want to have a messy desk because that might slow you down a little bit. That's basically it.

If a new teacher came to me looking for advice on how to make a favorable impression in Isaac Bildersee, I guess I would just tell them to do what they like. Some teachers like to make Comparative and better to learn from different types of styles. Analyze your classes and learn the students you have. But It's good to be a reasonable teacher Than so Relentless. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. The ore you know about your classes Then you could better control them.

If a new teacher came to me looking for advice on how to make a favorable impression on their new students, I would have lots of things to tell that teacher. I would say that even though you are older "than" the students you should have fun with them while learning- keep your cool you know? Try to act their age. Explain to the student that doing well in school is a "priority" but still have a good time with them. "Analyze" a student by his or her's characteristics. Once you know the student "then" you can start to have a friendly relationship with them. Remember, when you sense a student is having issues in class or throughout the school, never "ignore" it. Always confront the problem so you and the student can solve it together. Or you can send the student to their local guidance counselor. Try not to be too "relentless" with the students. If they are doing something that they were not supposed to be doing, state to them that it is imparitive that they should stop whatever they are doing and resume working. There is a time and place for everything. I for one think that you can teach a lesson as clear and loud enough for the students to understand you. Finally, when you feel students have done an excellent job , reward them! It is one of the most marvelous ways to express your feelings. Remember these tactics and I am sure that the student will succeed and you will be even more proud to recieve your paycheck!

My name is Jalen Johnson. If a teacher came to you looking for advice on how to make a favorable impression, what kind of advice would you give? I would tell the teacher that he/she should make this job the number one priority to get to the kids. They should analye the students and don't imeditaly summarize what you think about the students. They shouldn't ignore the problems of the students and then when the student is alone they should confront them about there problems. No student should be treated betterr than another. This is how a teacher could make a favorable impression.

I have had alot of experience as a student to know what kind of advice I would give the teacher. If a new teacher came up to me to ask that question I would tell her to ANALYZE each student in each of her
classess to know the good from the bad. Also to try to APPREHEND the students find out what method is best to use to teach them.Try to encourage them not to be NOTORIOUS in the school. Not to IGNORE the childrens behaviour and to take points off THEIR grade if it gets out of hand.To try not to be COMPARATIVE with the students but to help them with THEIR weakness and embrace what they are strong at in class.I am sure that teacher will make agreat imression that the teacher will ILLUMINATE in the classroom and help those students reach that better, brighter future
by doing these things.

If a child is having a problem with something they should make helping them a priority and should not ignore the problem.because if he/she ignores the problem the child will be left back on the section of their class.this would basicly be the advice i would give the new teacher.

Unfortunately, I didn't read the original post when i wrote my first statement= Redo
If a new teacher can to me for advice I would simply tell him/her this. Occasionally, your job will get tough, THEN again sometimes the kids won't learn. But don't try to IGNORE them just because you SUMMARIZED they are unteachable, be RELENTLESS in trying to help them. It shouldn't be your PRIORITY to just get payed and go home, it is your job to teach, too.

If a new teacher was looking for advice on how to make a favorable impression, the kind of advice i would give him/her is.. I would tell the teacher to ANALYZE and make COMPARITIVE details on students and see who is alike and who is different so that she/he could give then specific types of works.. Some students you can look at them and SUMMARIZE how they are be in the class and some you have to take a while to really understand them.. The teacher should make the classroom a little fun so that the students dont IGNORE the work and then later get left behind in their school work.. A new teacher would have to encourage her students so they can make strong goals in life.. ThEN at the end the teacher teacher would be proud of what good things his/her students have accomplish.. If a new teacher came to me looking for advice on how to make a favorable expression, what kind of advice would i give? To make a favorable expression the kind of advice i would give would be for the new teacher to ANALYZE each student. Also i would give advice for the new teacher to not IGNORE any of the children's problems and help them when they need it. Most teacher's are RELENTLESS to their students problem's THEN to talk to them about it.So in all my advice would be to SUMMARIZE all the students personalities and from there the teacher shuld be able to work with all the students the right way and understand how there personalities are.

I guess i would tell the teacher that she shouldn't ignore any of here students. She should analyze them to see who they are. Rather than some teachers that just judge them. They should summarize their records to see if it is good, and if it is not they shouldn't relentlessly attack them with hurtful words. This is how a new teacher could make a favorable impression.

The advice i would give the teacher is try to be fun with the students. The teacher should be benevolent toward the kid when they are be haved. He or she should also let us celebrate for holdays if we diserve it. The teacher should make shore that the kids are lavish to each other. Also the teacher should try to be notorious around the school. lastly they should be kind with their pairs.

My name is Imani Boyd of class 281, if a new teacher approched me for advice on how to make a favorable impression i would have to tell them the usual.First , i would tell him/her to start the first day oof a little easy for thier new students...it will be better to to start by introducing themselves.Rather THAN pileing thier new students with work, knowing that him/her is a new teacher the students might start to IGNORE them.Secondly, i would tell him/her to ANALYZE all of the new students and thier faces,actions,behavior.. i feel that this will help out alot. Also, it would be good to play a little game to SUMMARIZE all the students names and to see if the have anything COMPARATIVE to thier students. Many Students could be RELENTLESS towards thier teacher so it would be helpful to set class rules.

If a new teacher came to me looking for advice on how to make a good impression, I would tell that person to "converse" with the students. Then teacher could "analyze" the student based on what the what you saw. Then, you could "summarize" your experience, so you their weak spots. If "there" are too many weak spots, you could recommend a tutor. The teacher doesn't have to be benevolent for many reasons. The students would take advantage of that teacher.
