Write a one paragraph response to answer the question below. Use at least 7 of last week's vocabulary words.

One day, when you're middle aged and have teenage children of your own, you may impart to your children certain aspects of your own teen years. As your children listen to your tales, their respect for you grows incrementally, as they learn the details of your arduous life. What will you say to your children about the life that you currently enjoy?

(Underline and place in bold each vocabulary word. I am looking for 8th grade level sentences)

At the end of your paragraph put your First and last name and class

My children, there are many
"memoir" that i can tell you about my life as a teen. I liked "to" go to school because i liked my teachers. I liked to read books of a specific "genre". I love fiction books, mostly mystery and fantasy. In eight grade, there was "too" much work for me to do but i liked it. I had "two" best friends who were like "replicas" of each other. They liked the same things and sometimes it was really funny watching them talk to each other. They were kind of crazy. They were really "dynamic" and full of energy. I had a very satisfying life.

My MEMOIR to my teenage children about my joyous teen years would be about the following.
I would first off tell them about the moments that i could never forget. My first crush, my first date, my best friend and ext.
I would tell them about all the wild and crazy things ive said and done all throughout those years that i would not even dream about doing now. I would make sure to include all the extra curricular activities that i joined while in school that helped me with my proffesion. As for school, i could mension my favorite subjects, my favorite book GENRE.
I am pretty sure they would get a laugh out of all the hilarious that i did TO other people and all the things that happened to me, like when in the sixth grade while doing a christmas carol in front of a live AUDIENCE. The two funniest things that ever happened to me in my middle school years was when i accidentally wet myself in front of the whole class in sixth grade and also when i fell down the stairs in my catholic school hallway while wearing 3 and a half inch wedged heels. I cannot forget to mension the times when i was SYMPATHEIC to my peers. I remember a time when this boy that i disliked so much because he would always annoy me and always got in to trouble with his mouth, was getting bullied around by some eighth graders. I knew that he really deserved to get beat down just because he had a whole lot of mouth but i made a DECISION to help him just because i thought that if i was in the same situation i would want someone to help me TOO. Thought there would be some more stories told to my children about my teen years i think that i have covered the basics.

Kids I am going to read to you a "memoir" you the story of my teenage years. Well it all started at the 6th grade, you know I will skip past "too" the 7th grade. I was the most hated kid in class and I really didn't care, got picked on and still didn't care because no matter what they did to me on the past it could never hurt, why? Because at the end of 7th grade I realized that no matter how hard I try "to" be nice they would still torture me so I returned the favor! All those kids around me insulting me, or blaming me,etc, I really didn't care. And at home I despised my 14 year old who thought he had a "dynamic" personality but he is just a big headed arrogant person who thinks he gets all the girls but doesn't and 8 year old sister who is a spoiled brat who cries when she doesn't get what she wants. Why do you think you never have met them ever? Well only a few people around my age at that time 13-14 year olds, were nice to me throughout my teen and pre teen years. And this is why I was a jerk at school and this is also why I am not "sympathetic". Well at least no one knows. Although my teen years were rough it got better when I went to High-School!

Hello kids! If you have the time I would like to tell you a "memoir" of my teenage years. Ready? Here we go. When I was thirteen I was only a year away from finishing middle school. I enjoyed my year at Isaac Bildersee Intermediate School. We all said our goodbyes and left for vacaton. When it was time "to" come back to school nothing much had changed. I had made 1 new friend- along with my 7 friends from my previous years. We made a pretty "dynamic" team. Do not forget your uncle! My brother and I really enjoyed going to the library on lunch periods to read our favorite "genres". I loved that year of junior high. I also liked high school "too" but lets just focus on junior high. Remember this: whenever you feel homework might be too hard for you do not give up! If your old man can do it so can you! Okay, who wants dinner?

There are many MEMOIRS that I can tell to my children. I can tell them how I always went TO dance class on Saturdays. MY favorite GENRE of book was drama. My eigth grade english teacher always gave us TOO much work. I had TWO main friends who were LEVI and TRAYQUAN. They were REPLICAS of each other. I had a very pleasant life as a teenager.

What I would tell my children is this:
"Kids, I won't simply give you a MEMOIR of my life. TO do that would be a REPLICA of what every other parent is doing. If you would be my AUDIENCE, I'll tell you this. Life is DYNAMIC and way TOO short, so don't waste your time on petty things, make the DECISION to live you life to the fullest. I know that my years at your age was rather turbulent with hectic schedules, pressure of applying to high schools and other more discreet things, but all-in-all it was awesome! And one more thing, your whole life is ahead of you, so make the best of it, even if you had a few years left."

My child you are now going to middle school so i well tell you a MEMOIR of my years in middle school. In 6th grade you didn't get respect , only if you were a REPLICA of everyone else and you couldn't have a DYNAMIC personality. In the 7th grade that's when everything started for me.I had TWO best friends and joined the library staff TO get away from the disgusting lunchroom and also to read books. I was never TOO cool for school. In My last year 8th grade,I was a book fanatic especially when it came to the GENRE fiction. Hopefully your years in 8th grade would be as great as mine.

From Cassandra I'd probably say something like, "you know when i was your age i had T O do a lot of work. There were fond
M E M O I R S of my teenage years, like on my birthday i got sick and did nothing for my birthday. Beautiful isn't it? I got the presents i wanted though.
"i hate colds. Just before winter like as soon as it turned fall, i always caught a cold. it was like a natural antibiotics, 'cause in the winter i didn't get colds then. I had insane friends that were D Y N A M I C and energetic at times. It's like Boom! They jump out at you. We liked to bother our teachers T O O. Our teachers was fun.
"My ELA teacher made me a reader. Reading was not my thing. My favorite G E N R E now are realistic fiction, horror/suspense and sci-fi.
"My teachers taught us about
D E C I S I O N S. How we had to make them and be careful with them. The ones we make we stick to them. Not everybody is
S Y M P A T H E T I C when it comes to your problem. Everyone has problems." Or something like that.

My children, you are now teenagers and life could be hard sometimes. I would like to tell you how my life as a teen was and my "TWO" years of middle school. When I was a teen in 7th grade I made a lot of bad "DECISIONS". I would get into trouble sometimes and I didn't work as hard as I could. I didn't understand my school at all, because I had just moved "TO" the United States. It was hard fitting in with my class mates. At times I thought I was given "TOO" much work, but I was told that I would have more work in high school. I worked very hard to get the grades that I thought was excellent, but whenever I thought of it I wanted better grades. I was not very "SYMPATHETIC". I hated when I was not forgiven for doing someting wrong but I found it hard to forgive someone that did something bad to me. I think that was a bit selfish.
I really liked going to school. I had liked my E.L.A class a lot in 7th grade. It was my favorite subject. Although I liked reading, I thought it was hard reading to an "AUDIENCE". I hated reading my work out loud to my class. I was very shy. I didn't have a specific "GENRE" that I liked but reading was fun. I couldn't read when people spoke very loudly. Sometimes I even had to stay up late and read. My school work was my top priority.
In 8th grade, I thought my E.L.A teacher was a little too hard on me. She was a very strict teacher. I knew she just wanted us to listen to her and achieve what was expected of us. But I thought that I shouldn't have to frequently be reminded of this.
I wanted to be the the top student. But I found out that I would have to work very hard.My life was exciting and "DYNAMIC".

Kids today i'm going to read you a MEMOIR that i wrote in my teenage years.I hope it will EDIFY you as i read it. when i started junior high it was really different from elementary school. When i went there, THERE a lot of people i didn't know. Wearing uniform only made it worst. It looked like we were all an exact REPLICA of each other. When we were going TO our diffrent classes, we weren't led their by an adult. i stated to feel SYMPATHETIC at that moment. TWO years later i was in the 8th grade. Now I was a senior and i had a lot of friends. I was in different school activities as well. Those were some good years of my life.

Now that you have grown I have made a "decision" "to" start telling "memoirs" of my teenage years.I promise not to make them
"too" long kids.I will tell you that I had a love for books and my favorite "genre" was science fiction. In highschool all the teachers were like "replicas" of
eachother class was usually boring. One of the "two" classes I
did not like was gym since we had to run all those laps.I had some nice teen years and I will start telling you all about them from now on.

During my teenage years, I went "to" intermediate school 68. My favorite "GENRE" was fiction and i loved to be to be onstage than rather sitting down in the "AUDIENCE".By the time i had reached the eight grade i had written many "memoirs" and i had to make a lot of "decisions" like which high school to attend.I wanted to "edify" future students and i thought that those who refused to learn were simply "sympathetic".
