Um in poetry everthing has a reason or a specific waywhich makes you think harder and then when you understand it it makes you say "oh,thats what the author meant." So my question is did you spell loose that way on purpose or was it supposed to be lose.

This quote means that you have seen something that you absoulutey need you do anything for it. That would mean giving up everything that object or person.

I think Bernadette Delvin meant, when you find something you need not want, you should let everything else go.

I think that this quote means that you want to gain something but you have to loose something else. I dissagree with the quote because I don't want to gain something and then loose something thats important to me. Kemari Best 271

I agree with CHARMAINE because to get what you want thats worth having, you have to give up certain things that you love in order to get it.For example you want to party but you have to give that up to study for either a exam or just to keep track of your notes.

i agree with javel and shawn because if you want something so bad you would have to give up something important for that thing to happen but i also agree with kemari because just for that simple one thing you would have to give away everything you have got in your life

I think this poem means that when you need something it is better to lose so unnecessary things. For example: I believe in GOD it is better for me to give my life to him than to stay on Earth and have all that money, clothes, shoes and everything else on Earth.

I believe that the quote means in order to gain something you would have to lose something. I strongly disagree with this quote because i don't think anyone should have to lose something in oreder for them to gain something.

I think what Bernadette Delvin is trying to say is that you can earn anything you like but, you may be excuesd to loose anything else.

a good example for why somebody would agree with this quote is what carliese said and i agree to but nobody wants to get things taken away from you just for you to have something very worthy.

I think this quote means that it would be worth losing every thing you have for something much more important.I dont agree because even if we all wanted something important we still wouldn't want to lose another worthy item.

I am Jade Compton from the class of 271 and I consider that this quote is very helpful and beneficial to us.
Quotes are inspirational, and influential sayings said for an important reason. Most of the time sayings are put into the same category. In this quote, it is telling us, in order to get what you want or want to gain and you are determined for it, you are going to lose essentially everything else you have and it is going to be left behind , in other words, you must give up something for that particular thing. It is necessary to lose everything that you currently have when you gain your afterlife. This quotes teaches you a lesson you that you can not do everything but you ca do something until you come up to the point when you want something you don't have.It doesn't matter, because everybody can be a success and they can also be a failure.

Well what I think this quote means is that it shouldnt matter to you if you lose something that is unecessary because you should have that one main thing in your life that makes happy.I agree with carliese because she would rather have something that should be important to everybody instead of having all those fancy things but when you look at them they are really not that fancy if you rather have them over things that should be more important that is what I think this quote means.

I think it means that if you want somrthing sometimes you got to give up something else to get what you want. Maybe your sacrifices will get you something that worth it.

Hi I am Tai Smith of class 271. I believe that this quote is saying that you have to sacrific certain things to gain something. So if you are trying to achieve something, you will work hard towards it. So you will sacrific things. An example is if someone wants to read a book in one week. They will probably have to sacrific their computer time or play time just to achieve their goal. I think that this is a good quote for people who have goals.

To me this quote means that your have to go choices to become a better person. But you have to choice wisely because sometimes you can make a choice it starts good then it will just fall apart not know what you did to make it that way. You have to make a plan to make your dreams come true. There might be a lot of choices you can make but you got to choice one but your stuck in a hard choice. The more time you waste trying to choice one they good opertinties you lose.
