I think that the best way to restate this quote is: ''I like the weak point of people because somewhere in them they tell the truth''. I agree because even how smart you can be,you have a weak point. Megane A. Nacier 272.

I think that this quote means that some people let you really know the truth when they are flawed and that their way to tell you the truth is to be their own self.

I agree with what the quote says because a of person shows how they really are by just being themselves

Unflawed people don't exist; therefore, portraying one in a movie would be difficult and boring. By choosing flawed characters, Cage gets to act closer to reality and at the same time find some redeeming quality even among the flaws.

I agree because perfect chareteher are boring but flawed ones are more interesting and relate to people like myself

I think this quote means that you like someone for who they truly are. They show who they are, like if they're playful them they will show you that, and not a person that say that they're courageous and they're actually a wimp. That's the same thing I say I totally agree with this quote.

My interpretation of the quote,"I like flawed characters because somewhere in them I see more of the truth" in my opinion the actor Nicolas Cage believes that a flawed character adds life and excitment to a movie plot or a book's storyline because the movie or book would not be interesting with an unflawed person. For example, Marry Poppins would be concidered an unflawed character we are able to predict everything that she will do to solve her problem perfectly. Since there are no flawless people in the real world Nicolas Cage may believe that flawed characters represent real people and real people have real problems. An example of this would be found in the movie Precious.

I think Nicholas Cage meant that he likes flawed characters because they are more realistic because there is more truth to them. They do not hold any thing back.

i think this quote means that, that person likes a person who would tell them the truth so that he or she does not have to find out if that person is telling the truth or not.i agree to this because i would not like someone telling me one thing and then finding out that they were lieing to me.

I think that this quote means that the person liked flawed characters better because flawed characters show that a person is real, in another way human , because nobody is perfect and flaws shows that in a person. I strongly agree with this quote because I feel that if a person is trying to be like someone else, they are kind of like liers , because they are lying to themselves about who they really are.

I think that this qoute means that the reader likes flawed characters meaning a character that is not perfect because they have more truth than other characters. i agree with this qoute because if the caracters are not perfect thaen they tell the truth about who they are and what they go through. if the character is not flawed the try to be perfect and sometimes lie to sound like they have it all or know everything and they just want to be perfect.

this quote basically means that everyone makes mistake but behind all of those mistakes there is a real person and that is just who they are. I agree with this quote because behind every mistake or flaw there is the truth in someone or the reason of that flaw. i agree with Carliese because explained what she thought the quote meant, and had a well understanding of it as well.

Hi Mrs. T' Hall, it is Jade Compton from class 271. This quotation was spoken by Nicholas Cage and it is very helpful to me. I think this quote means the imperfection of characters because of somewhere in them someone sees see more of the truth, means what he/she would say. My interpretation of this poem is that there's no such thing as a perfect person, we are all flawed, so we see ourselves in flawed characters. I agree with this. It help us to better understand those characters and go deep in them. We also learn from our faults, or mistakes, and in the same way we understand a character exactly that that has flaws. For example, a great weakness which everyone shares is the greed for money. Greed can destroy innocence; it is a root of all evil, is a continous theme that can relate to the world around us. Everyone dreams of a life of wealth and no worries about what will be their next meal to and when it will be served, refered to upcoming event that might hinder them
